GREEN FOR THE SPRING. WHY LIME SHADE IS THE TREND.
I just fell in love with this coat when I saw it for the first time: I knew my style was changing and I needed some new shapes as well as colours in my wardrobe. Lime or better chartreuse yellow shade of green was the first unusual (for me) colour that I thought of.
Green that is pronounced the colour of the year by Pantone seems to be one of the most favourite colours of designers (let’s not mention IKEA here, alright?)) ). Have you seen those Michael Kors flower fantasies interpreting the greenery colour? Or Gucci men collection full of green shades? I was honestly surprised not to see much of green during the Met Gala this year.
Needless to say, green is one of the most difficult colours to wear, you need to meticulously choose your shade not to seem sick and pale yourself. For myself I chose chartreuse yellow this time, but I love brunswick green, mint and turquoise as well. This coat in particular matches well with modest as well as bright colours like in this other look I built up. How do you like it?
