LOOK FORWARD OR HOW TO DEAL WITH CHANGE

How can one possibly change his own life 3 times in one year, I mean completely, and start everything  almost from scratch?  This question just came to my mind a couple of days ago, when I was thinking how can I reconstruct the puzzle of my life that seemed to have fallen apart. I was so meticulously putting all the pieces together during the last 6 months or so, and then **BOOM**:  I need to start over.

We are all resistant to change, and then only some of us are risk-takers. But whether you are a risk averse person or otherwise, you would definitely benefit from keeping in mind the following things:

1. When change comes, try to embrace it happily.  This will help you to stay strong and positive, when you deal with it.

2. Talk to people, find a mentor.  Sometimes it is difficult to see the bigger picture on your own and an external “player” is always helpful!

3. Sort out the organizational questions  first. This helps to clear your mind  and start planning a new life straight away, otherwise org stuff will just drag you down.

4. Put your new plan  down. Just sit down for a couple of days and put it down.  What will you do first? What are the biggest challenges? So on and so forth…

And now what? I am happily but slowly moving into my new life.  I don’t want to rush this time, I just want to take my time and keep myself busy with drawing new beautiful sketches for you! So, stay tuned! :)

Couldn’t agree more! You make great points. I went through a time in my life where I struggled so much with change. I hated it and did not want to accept it. I kept looking back, even though looking forward was exactly what I needed to do. <3

      Hey Hayley,

That’s right! Sometimes it might be a real struggle, but whenever you face a new challenge – remember how many of them you had in the past. And the best thing is – you always managed to go forward :)
