The main event of thе last days of February was Milano Fashion Week, sixth in this season’s fashion marathon. This event is quiet special in the world of fashion due to the names of designers who take part in it. Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada – these several names let Milano Fashion Week be called the most luxurious of all. Here is our team’s short review of FW collections you really must know about.

Georgio Armani

Armani is utterly wonderful as usual. This season’s collection emanates elegance, «lightness and sophistication» (that’s what Armani himself said after the show). Stylish hats, classic jackets, pleasant to the eye colours of winter and soft materials – it seems that the designer did everything to make us feel comfortable this winter. No doubt it was created for true ladies who know what the word «style» means.

The style of this fashion house has recently changed – Donatella doesn’t follow the path of her brother Gianni.  No more bright prints and colours, which seemed to cry at you. Now the clothes can suit into the wardrobe of any modern woman. This collection has everything for them – excellent suits, flawless coats and breathtaking dresses which are able to make the woman who wears it feel special. The designer knows what modern women need.

Looks like red and wine Jack boots is a new must-have of the upcoming season. There’s no model demonstrating this collection that appeared on the runway without them. Surprisingly, they look good with everything from lace dresses and blue skirts to fur coats. Besides, we really love those silk shirts and dresses with elegant prints and classic double-breasted coats.

Max Mara

Monochrome looks, velvet, sparkling clothes, fur and loose silhouettes have totally won our hearts! Black, grey, red, camel, cognac are timeless colours, which is one more reason to like new Max Mara creation. These clothes assure us we can look beautiful next winter.

The new collection is really impressive – combinations of colours, materials, details are united in what we call Ms. Prada creation. The atmosphere of the 1970-s, velvet and shell accessories build up a feeling that the whole collection was created under momentary impressions. Prada seems to insist on the freedom of choice, so that women can wear whatever they want: silk dresses with fluffy slippers, cocktail dresses with feathers and so on. This is totally a perfect source of inspiration for street fashion bloggers and fashion illustrators.
